Fresh Water Generator on Service Exchange basis
We offer Freshwater generators on service exchange basis.
This means that the Fresh Water Generator is totally remanufactured. When we remanufacture a Fresh Water Generator, we strip it totally down and put all parts except tube plates in an oven to get rid off the chlorites which are trapped in the steel.
When the items are out off the oven it is sandblasted to SA2½. If there is a hole in the casing the area is cut out and replaced with new plate, if the tube plates are bad they are replaced.
All tubes in heater and condenser are changed.
All gaskets are replaced. All bolts are replaced, and the bolts in the condenser are replaced with stainless steel bolts.
After repair on the casing it is sandblasted again to SA2½. All small corrode area are rebuild with Nordtec Ceramic Rapid. The bottom is coated with 3 layers of Nordtec 2212 FDA (Food grade coating) the sides are applied 2 layer.
Nordtec Ceramic 2212 FDA is developed for Food, Fresh water plants and Freshwater generators.
Nordtec Ceramic 2212 FDA is designed as an abrasion resistant and fluid flow ceramic coating.
Nordtec Ceramic 2212 FDA coating is reinforced with ceramic and carbide particles to obtain a high level of abrasion and erosion resistance and physical, mechanical strength.
Nordtec Ceramic 2212 FDA are the finest compounds for rebuilding and resurfacing components and equipment operating in the most aggressive marine environments, which are subject to erosion and corrosion damage.
